Seven-Position Valve Puts You In Control

The patented, multiport control valve on this pool filter was developed by Hayward and is designed with seven filter positions.  An easy-to-use lever-action handle lets you quickly dial any function. 

Long-Lasting Convenience  

You can easily access the Pro Series pool filter assembly for simple servicing via the unique folding ball joint in the laterals.  A corrosion-proof housing protects the filter from severe weather for years to come. 

About Sand Pool Filters

The oldest and most popular method of filtration is sand.  Sand pool filters share two things in common:

1. When in the filtration mode, water always flows from top to bottom

2. All sand pool filters have some sort of lateral or underdrain with slots to hold back sand

Note: The 16" sand filter requires 100 lbs. of sand; the 18" sand filter requires 150 lbs. of sand, and the 21" sand filter requires 200 lbs. of sand.
