The Hayward^® AquaRite® Electronic Chlorine Generator (also known as a salt chlorinator) automatically produces pure chlorine every day from a small amount of table salt that is dissolved in your pool water. This happens while your swimming pool is being filtered and distributes it evenly throughout the pool via the return jets. The low concentration of salt never leaves your pool and is used over and over by the AquaRite system to generate chlorine that purifies your pool water and leaves the water crystal-clear and silky smooth.
