Normal sanitizer levels in your pool will prevent algae growth - guaranteed. PHOSfree is a cost effective way to control phosphate levels in your swimming pool. Simply add PHOSfree directly to the skimmer; it's easily trapped by the filter.

Natural Chemistry PHOSfree Directions for Use

PHOSfree is designed to remove phosphates through filtration by applying a coating to the filter media. Depending on the phosphate level, more than one dose may be required. Important: Do not add more than 1L (32oz) within a 48 hour period. Phosphates need to be lowered to 100ppb or lower before beginning to use Pool Perfect+PHOSfree on a weekly basis.

1. If pool has algae, visit your nearest Pinch A Penny for directions on treating it

2. Balance pool water or contact Pinch A Penny for pool service

3. Clean or backwash filter, if necessary

4. Determine required PHOSfree dosage from chart. Note: It is recommended that you test your pool's phosphate level

5. With filter running, shake bottle well, and add required dose directly to the skimmer. Note: If DE filter pressure rises above normal range, bump filter per manufacturer's instructions and restart (if the pool filter manufacturer does not provide bumping instructions, turn off the filter for one minute, then restart. If pressure does not drop, place the valve on backwash for 5-10 seconds, turn the filter off, rinse briefly, and restart). Repeat until pressure stays in normal range

6. Run filter 8 hours/day for one week or 48 hours continuously without backwashing or cleaning.

When phosphate levels are 100ppb or less, begin maintenance with a weekly dose of: Pool Perfect+PHOSfree
